My sister and I came to check on my nephew who plays football for UVA. My sister arrived first. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the front desk attendant. I didn't get her name, but she was there every day we were there and was very helpful. The first room we were placed in had an issue with the hot water, but we were able to get another room no problem. Breakfast was nice and each and every person we encountered who worked at the hotel greeted us, was friendly and had good customer service. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean, well staffed by friendly folks, good breakfast in a well-lit and clean common area. Quiet guests who made no noise. My room was clean with goo temp and good bathroom water pressure.

It’s a long story but I’ll give the short. The rooms were clean as well as the hotel. With that being said I am a very easy going person. The gentleman at check in was VERY RUDE. The price was higher than originally quoted and one of the two rooms was wrong. I said it was ok, I just wanted to let him know that the room with the king was a double queen. SUPER annoyed and said “I KNOW MY ROOMS”. Ok but the king was more money and both rooms have two queens. After traveling for 12 hours horrible attitude was not what I wanted to be greeted with.

Helpful staff provided info over the phone when my plans changed and I had to arrive very late the first night. I registered over the phone so all I had to do was show my cc and driver's license, put the parking tag on my car, and go to my room & sleep!
